CompactPCI multi-display controller with AMD Radeon GPU tech announced by MEN Mikro - News

NUREMBERG, Germany. A new 3U CompactPC multi-display controller -- the G214 -- that can manage six displays simultaneously was announced by officials at MEN Mikro Elektronik Gmbh at the Embedded World show in Nuremberg, Germany this week. The new device leverages the AMD Radeon E6760 General Purpose Processor (GPU) running at 600 megahertz.

Requirements traceability tasks automated with test management extension from Visure - News

NUREMBERG, Germany. Engineers at Visure Solutions in Madrid, Spain integrated test management into its new IRQA requirements engineering tool. The new feature enables validation of requirements for safety-critical software designers involved in military and commercial avionics DO-178B certification and other mission-critical applications. The IRQA tool automates requirements traceability with tests that provide proof points necessary for regulatory certification. Visure is demonstrating their Test Management Extension in Hall 4, Stand 418 at Embedded World this week.

The latest update enables SMP and Linux support toward multi-core architectures. It also has a new certifiable file system, performance improvements, certifiable IP stack, and other tool improvements.

Officials at General Dynamics UK selected the INTEGRITY Real-Time-Operating-System (RTOS) from Green Hills Software in Santa Barbara, Calif., as the operating system software for all mission-critical computers within the Scout Specialist Vehicles (SV) program. Green Hills officials made the announcement at the Embedded World show this week in Nuremberg, Germany.

Engineers at Pentek in Upper Saddle River, N.J. announced two new high-speed system synchronization and distribution devices for phased array radar, direction finding, and beamforming antenna applications at Embedded World in Nuremberg, Germany. The Pentek Model 7192 PMC/XMC module and the Model 9192 rack-mount unit, respectively, will work with multiple Pentek Virtex-6-based Cobalt and Pentek Virtex-7-based Onyx modules at clock rates as fast as 1.8 GHz and sample rates up to 3.6 GHz.
