PikeOS RTOS 3.3 update announced by SYSGO

NUREMBERG, Germany. Engineers at SYSGO released the latest version of their PikeOS Real-Time-Operating System (RTOS) ? version 3.3 ? at the Embedded World show in Nuremberg, Germany today. The latest update enables SMP and Linux support toward multi-core architectures. It also has a new certifiable file system, performance improvements, certifiable IP stack, and other tool improvements.
The 3.3 release of PikeOS, which is used in avionics applications, also features a new Android personality on MIPS, extends the Linux personality to SPARC and MIPS architectures, provides support for MIPS32 as much as 74k, and has a PCI manager for secure bus partitioning.
The PikeOS 3.3 version will be available in April 2012.
