MUNICH. Engineers at SYSGO and Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions demonstrated a secure real-time-operating system (RTOS) running on an ARM processor this week at the Aviation Electronics Europe event at SYSGO's booth -- #19. The joint platform combines SYSGO’s DO-178B/C certified hypervisor PikeOS with Curtiss-Wright’s VPX3-1701 Freescale LS1020A dual ARM Cortex-A7 processor-based single board computer (SBC) in an avionics solution.

MAINZ, GERMANY. SYSGO has announced that its PikeOS certified Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) ran on the LEON platform of the recently completed IMA4Space project. The IMA4Space project, a program established by the European Space Agency (ESA) to define a Time and Space Partitioning (TSP) solutions for space equipment, focused on the implementation of an Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) system to reduce the amount of electronics in future space applications.

NUREMBERG, Germany. Engineers at SYSGO released the latest version of their PikeOS Real-Time-Operating System (RTOS) ? version 3.3 ? at the Embedded World show in Nuremberg, Germany today. The latest update enables SMP and Linux support toward multi-core architectures. It also has a new certifiable file system, performance improvements, certifiable IP stack, and other tool improvements.
