Astronics Corporation, provider of technologies for global aerospace, defense, and other mission critical industries, has won contracts by Boeing to supply CorePower aircraft power distribution units and custom-engineered exterior lighting for the MQ-25 unmanned aerial refueling program.

FRANCE. Thales has been chosen by the French defense procurement agency (DGA) to lead a second part of the ground segment of the Syracuse IV satellite communications (SATCOM) system for the French armed forces.

GERMANY. Sensor solutions provider HENSOLDT is modernizing the TRS-3D radars of two K130-class corvettes of the German Navy, as well as an associated shore facility.

CRANE, Ind. The Naval Surface Warfare Center has awarded Collins Aerospace Systems, a unit of Raytheon Technologies (RTX), a seven-year, $64 million Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide sonar domes for surface combat ships for the U.S Navy and Allied forces.

HORSHAM, Pa. GDP Space Systems announced it will provide ground equipment to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in support of the upcoming Psyche mission. Originally purchased to support previous successful Mars programs, GDP’s telemetry receivers have now been repurposed to test the RF transmitter for the Psyche mission.

BETHESDA, Md. Lockheed Martin announced that the company will soon begin supporting formal integration and testing of the U.S. Army’s combat vehicle protection system intended to keep warfighters safer and more secure from battlefield threats.

Delta Digital Video has announced that it has been selected to supply multiple Model 9600 Video Distribution Systems to Global Technical Systems (GTS), who has been contracted for procurement of Network, Processing and Storage (NPS) Technical Insertion (TI) 16, Modification (MOD) 1 production equipment, which provides computer processing and memory, data storage and extraction, network systems, and input/output interfaces to host software applications of Navy combat systems.

UNITED KINGDOM. Northrop Grumman Corporation’s UK team demonstrated its command and control (C2) system in a denied satellite communications (SATCOM) environment during NATO’s Coalition Warrior Interoperability eXercise (CWIX 2020).

FRANCE. The French defense procurement agency (DGA) has awarded Thales and Airbus a contract for the new joint tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) system to upgrade the French forces' critical signals monitoring, direction finding, and spectrum analysis capabilities.

NORWAY. Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS (KONGSBERG) has been awarded a contract by Norwegian Material Defense Agency for upgrade of the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS).

HOUSTON, Texas. KBR has won a $92.6 million contract to perform engineering, integration, and sustainment services on counter unmanned air systems (C-UAS) for the Combat Integration & Identification Systems unit within the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).

WASHINGTON. DARPA's LongShot program, which is developing an air-launched unmanned air vehicle (UAV) with the ability to employ multiple air-to-air weapons, has awarded contracts to General Atomics, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman for preliminary Phase I design work.

ARLINGTON, Va. BAE Systems has received a $184 million contract option from the U.S. Marine Corps for more Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACV) under full-rate production. The contract award will cover production, fielding, and support costs for the ACV personnel carrier (ACV-P) variant.

HERNDON, Va. HawkEye 360 Inc., company specializing in formation-flying satellites to create a new class of radio frequency (RF) data and analytics, launched Mission Space, the first commercial platform purpose-built to facilitate the analysis of RF geospatial intelligence.

ATLANTA, Ga. Honeywell and Embraer have worked jointly to install Honeywell's Aircraft Data Gateway 400 (ADG-400) on all of Embraer's new E2 commercial jets, with an option to retrofit first-generation E1 models. The solution is intended to allow operators to wirelessly transfer critical flight and maintenance data to and from their aircraft more quickly and efficiently than before.

FRANCE. Interface Concept, company specializing in the design and manufacturing of COTS embedded boards and systems, announced the ComEth4412a, a 3U VPX dual plane hybrid PCIe Gen 3 and 40 Gigabit Ethernet Switch, designed in alignment with the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) technical standard.

WASHINGTON and AUSTIN, Texas. MEASURE, an aerial intelligence company, announced that the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has awarded the company a contract to develop and deliver software solutions to support drone operations within Air Force Civil Engineering and Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer (RED HORSE) squadrons. Jesse Stepler, Co-Founder, Chief Strategy Officer, and Head of Product at MEASURE, will serve as Principal Investigator.

CENTREVILLE, Va. Parsons Corporation won a five-year $69 million contract by the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory (ARL) to develop exploratory technology that will aim to provide United States warfighters with the technological edge as part of the Army's future vision.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. Celerium Inc. announced a new partnership with CenSec, the prime Danish cluster organization for companies specializing in high-tech industries like defense, homeland security, space, aerospace, and cybersecurity. CenSec will be a member of Celerium's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Academy International Alliance program in an effort to bring CMMC awareness to the Danish defense industry.
