Data-powered radar and human-autonomy teaming bolster U.K.'s next-gen combat air system - News

UNITED KINGDOM. The latest concepts under development for the Royal Air Force’s (RAF) next generation combat air system have been revealed by British engineers on the program. Delivering the technology will be Team Tempest, a U.K. technology and defense partnership formed by BAE Systems, Leonardo, MBDA, Rolls-Royce, and the RAF, and also involving hundreds of high-tech companies and academia across the U.K.

Sonobuoys for U.S. Navy garners $71.8 million contract for ERAPSCO joint venture - News

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. and DELEON SPRINGS, Fla. ERAPSCO -- a joint venture of Ultra Electronics and Sparton DLS -- has won a contract from the U.S. Navy valued at $71.8 million for the manufacture of sonobuoys. This latest contract is a modification of the contract signed in Fiscal Year 2019 in which the Navy ordered a number of AN/SSQ-125 sonobuoys for its U.S. fleet.

The project will aim to provide U.S. military customers flying small UAS platforms the ability to deploy a robust, on-demand, highly-secure communications network that will address growing electronic warfare capabilities of adversaries.

StormBreaker smart weapon approved to equip F-15 Eagle - News

Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a Raytheon Technologies business, has announced the StormBreaker smart weapon has been approved for use on the F-15E by the U.S. Air Force's Air Combat Command. The fielding decision means that F-15E squadrons can now be equipped with StormBreaker and deployed for missions, according to Raytheon.
