ARLINGTON, Va. BAE Systems announced it has won multiple contracts from the U.S. Army to develop technologies for the Advanced Teaming Demonstration Program (A-Team). BAE Systems won contracts for three of the program’s four focus areas, designed to advance manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) capabilities for the U.S. Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program.

FAIRFAX, Va. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics,  announced it was awarded the Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS) contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) in partnership with the Defense Department (DoD) and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

PERTH, Australia. Strategic Elements Ltd. subsidiary Stealth Technologies has signed an agreement to collaborate with U.S.-based autonomous drone technology company, Planck AeroSystems. STRATFORD, Conn. Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, announced it will build six additional production CH-53K King Stallion helicopters under a new contract for the U.S. Navy. The additional aircraft are intended to further support the U.S. Marine Corps in its mission to conduct expeditionary heavy-lift assault transport of armored vehicles, equipment, and personnel to support distributed operations deep inland from a sea-based center of operations.

MELBOURNE, Fla. U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has awarded L3Harris Technologies an initial $82 million full-rate production order for its new Falcon IV AN/PRC-167 multi-channel manpack radio that is intended to provide Special Operations Forces (SOF) with advanced communications capabilities.

THAILAND. The sensor solutions provider HENSOLDT will equip the Royal Thai Army with its TRML-3D. This is the third TRML-3D ordered by the Royal Thai Army. The radar will be delivered in 2022.

CHANTILLY, Va. Perspecta Inc. announced today that its applied research arm, Perspecta Labs, has received a contract option and modification for work on phase 3 of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA's) Converged Collaborative Elements for radio frequency (RF) Task Operations (CONCERTO) program. These awards build upon phase 2 implementation and demonstration and have a combined value of $5.1 million.

ARLINGTON, Va. Leonardo has introduced its newest naval defense product Lionfish, a family of small-caliber remotely controlled turrets. Designed and developed by Leonardo, the new line consists of four models, which feature Ultralight, Inner Reloading and Top of 12.7 mm caliber, and the model 20 of 20 mm caliber.
