MCLEAN, Va. Engineering firm Alion Science and Technology has won a $75 million task order to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) Fighters & Advanced Aircraft Directorate and Bombers Directorate (AFLCMC/WA and AFLCMC/WB, respectively), which provide state-of-the-art technical support for every U.S. Air Force (USAF) fighter and bomber weapon system currently in the USAF inventory supporting U.S. joint services and several foreign military partners. 

WASHINGTON. The U.S. Air Force's Digital Engineering Enterprise Office (DEEO) has awarded cybersecurity firm Corsha (Tyson's Corner, Virginia) a $1.5 million Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract for an initiative to deploy the Corsha cloud-native, scalable API Security Platform to secure mission-critical data-in-motion across U.S Air Force platforms.

WASHINGTON. The Department of the Air Force has awarded a contract to Boeing -- worth nearly $1.2 billion -- for its first lot of eight F-15EX fighter aircraft, which uses open mission systems architecture to enable the rapid insertion of new technologies intended to keep the aircraft viable for decades to come.

Data-analytics and software company Devo Technology has won a contract from the U.S. Air Force for the Enterprise Cyberspace Security & Defense (CS&D) Global Security Information Event Management (SIEM) System; the contract for Devo software and related services is worth $9.5 million.

The U.S. Air Force's Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) has signed a $7.2 million prototype agreement with Lockheed Martin, Ball Aerospace, and Kratos Defense & Security Solutions to develop a multi-band, multi-mission (MBMM) prototype phased array as part of a broader initiative to modernize the existing Air Force Satellite Control Network and bring new technology faster to warfighters.
