WASHINGTON. U.S. Navy officials will evaluate Saab's anti-submarine warfare (ASW) training system, the AUV62-AT, through the Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) Program. The demonstration is planned for summer 2018, with an option to continue testing into 2019.

STOCKHOLM. Defense and security company Saab has received a follow-on order from General Dynamics for delivery of the Saab Sea Giraffe AMB naval radar for the U.S. Navy?s Littoral Combat Ships LCS 28 and LCS 30. The initial contract was awarded in September 2011 to the company?s U.S, subsidiary, Saab Sensis, which covered the delivery of the radar as part of the Navy?s LCS program.

STOCKHOLM. Defense and security firm Saab has signed a contract with NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) in Luxembourg to upgrade three SINDRE I air surveillance radars in Norway. Saab?s upgrade, say company officials, will include replacing obsolete hardware and upgrading software.

U.S. Navy orders multimode radars for Coast Guard patrol cutters - News

SYRACUSE, N.Y. Saab Defense and Security has obtained a contract from the U.S. Navy to provide its Sea Giraffe Agile Multi Beam (AMB), Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) for deployment with the U.S. Coast Guard. The value of the initial order -- covering the procurement of two systems -- amounts to $16.8 million but with options for additional radars the contract may be worth as much as $118.5 million.
