ST. LOUIS. U.S. Air Force officials selected Boeing as the prime contractor to upgrade existing F-15 aircrafts with the Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS) and in a subcontract BAE Systems will develop and manufacture EPAWSS for Boeing. The initial prime contract’s estimated value is $4 billion.

LONDON. At the Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition in London, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between Terma Aerostructures A/S and BAE Systems, in which Terma will continue to manufacture subassemblies, components, and parts of the F-35 Lightning II empennage.

CAPE COD, Massachusetts. BAE Systems won a U.S. Air Force contract modification to continue operations and maintenance support services for the Air Force Solid State Phased Radar System (SSPARS). Company engineers will continue supporting the Air Force’s 21st Space Wing — the unit responsible for enabling missile warning and space surveillance awareness through 2018.

BAE Systems has received a contract modification to continue providing the U.S. Air Force with operation and maintenance support services for the Solid State Phased Radar System (SSPARS). The original award started in 2006, with the modification the contract is now extended another year and has an estimated value of $550 million.

USS Iwo Jima to enter phased maintenance period with BAE Systems - News

ARLINTON, Va. BAE Systems has been selected to implement a phased maintenance contract for the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship, which is scheduled to begin August 2015 and to conclude by July 2016. The contract’s value is estimated to be $26.8 million, however, if all options are exercise it could be worth up to $32.6 million.
