FALLS CHURCH, Va. Northrop Grumman Corporation has been selected to provide the U.S. Marine Corps with the Next Generation Handheld Targeting System (NGHTS). This compact targeting device is designed to provide precision targeting and be capable of operation in GPS-denied environments.

SWEDEN. Saab is launching a ruggedized, 5G communication system for military and crisis operations at the Umex SimTEX 2022 exhibition in the United Arab Emirates called DeployNet.

HUNSTVILLE, Ala. Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, has been selected for Phase 2 of the Air Combat Evolution (ACE) program, Technical Area 3 (TA3), by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) Strategic Technology Office (STO).

HERNDON, Va. Peraton, through its subsidiary Perspecta Engineering Inc., has won a contract to assist the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with Data Center and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) Support Services.

BETHESDA, Md. The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded Lockheed Martin a $19.3 million Prototype Project Agreement (PPA) to create a 5G communications network infrastructure testbed for expeditionary operations experimentation for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD R&E) and the U.S. Marine Corps.

UNITED KINGDOM and JAPAN. The U.K. and Japan have today signed a Letter of Arrangement (LOA) to jointly conduct cooperative research on a fighter jet sensor, and officials claim that the partners will aim to acquire cutting-edge sensor technology to detect lethal threats.

AUSTIN, Texas. SparkCognition Government Systems (SGS) has announced its participation at International Maritime Exercise (IMX) 2022/Cutlass Express. IMX/CE 2022 is a multinational naval exercise in the Middle East with more than 80 unmanned systems from 10 nations participating.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. Raven Industries, Inc. announced that Aerostar Technical Solutions, Inc. (Raven Aerostar) has secured a subcontract with a value of $3.6 million for products to TCOM L.P. for the KSA Modified Persistent Surveillance Systems - Tethered (PSS-T) Large Systems in Saudi Arabia under a Foreign Military Sales program with the U.S. Army.

GERMANY. Sensor solution provider HENSOLDT announced the development of an independent next-generation tactical data link through a European project called ESSOR MIDS (European Secure Software-defined Radio Multifunctional Information Distribution System).

BOISE, Idaho. Black Sage's Sawtooth Mesh Network counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) capability was demonstrated in an urban environment at the U.S. Army's DiDEX 3 event. The capability integrates C-UAS sensors and effectors deployed at numerous locations into a unified mesh network.

IRVINE, Calif. The Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) has selected Thomas Global’s TFD-7000 Series flight displays for its Boeing 757 fleet. The TFD-7000 Series displays deliver cost-effective and low-risk display upgrade solution for Boeing 757, 767, and 737 aircraft.

WILSONVILLE, Ore. Teledyne FLIR Defense, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, announced that the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center has awarded the company an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract worth up to $43.9 million to service electro-optical sensor systems used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

HERNDON, Va. Peraton Labs has won a contract under the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency's (DARPA) Mission-Integrated Network Control (MINC) program to design, develop, integrate, test, and evaluate a multi-domain network orchestration solution.
