Hardware contract for U.S. Navy and FMS customers signed with Leonardo DRS

ARLINGTON, Va. Leonardo DRS has won a contract with the U.S. Navy for the development, integration, and production of hardware solutions for various Navy platforms.
The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract -- which combines equipment for the U.S. Navy plus purchases for the British government and the Commonwealth of Australia under the Foreign Military Sales program -- has a base award of more than $382 million; with options, the cumulative value of the contract could total more than $830 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, Leonardo DRS will provide design, procurement, production, sparing, test, installation, and support of displays, workstations, processors, and network systems. It will also facilitate production of subsequent systems, kits, and enclosures; and provide engineering and technical services.
Work under the contract -- was awarded through the Leonardo DRS Laurel Technologies business -- will be performed in Leonardo DRS facilities in Johnstown, Pennsylvania; Burnsville, Minnesota; Germantown, Maryland; Largo, Florida; and Chesapeake, Virginia until expected completion in December 2026.
