CloudberryMIL ethernet switch to become solution for mobile GBAD

NORWAY. OnTime Networks, rugged, time synchronized Ethernet solutions company for the aerospace and defense industries, announced the selection by Diehl Defence GmbH & Co. KG to provide its military-grade, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), CloudberryMIL CR-6900 Series Gigabit Ethernet Switch and Router solution for a mobile and all-terrain ground based air defense system (GBAD).
The Diehl Defence ground based air defense system is based on a modular design and open-system architecture, intended to provide flexibility for new weapon systems as well as for modernization of legacy equipment.
The CloudberryMIL CR-6900 Series Gigabit Ethernet Switch, Router, and GPS Time Server solution is ruggedized and will be at the heart of the new air defense solution, which will be deployed on fixed and mobile ground platforms.
According to company officials, the CloudberryMIL CR-6900 Series high-performance Gigabit Ethernet Switch, Router and GPS Time Server platform has been designed to perform in the harshest environments, providing connectivity for land, air, and sea platforms. It has up to 48 GbE ports and 4 10GbE ports, and provides performance and scalability.
