Air Force awards $61 million IT contract to CSRA for global ISR mission

FALLS CHURCH, Va. The U.S. Air Force has awarded a five-year, $61 million contract to information-technology provider CSRA Inc.for support of the Air Force's global intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) mission. The contract allows CSRA to continue as it has for 20 years, providing support to the Department of Defense and the U.S. Air Force with its ISR-enabling capability.
The contract -- known as FIRE -- will allow CSRA to continue to provide engineering, systems integration, operational scheduling services, solutions, and budget and resources support to HQ United States Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for ISR and the Air Combat Command Directorate of Plans and Programs.
The period of performance for the contract is five years; work will be performed at the Pentagon, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Hanscom Air Force Base, two other locations in the continental United States, and two overseas locations.
