BETHPAGE, N.Y. Northrop Grumman engineers will be upgrading the three E-2C Hawkeyes owned and operated by the French navy as part of a $34.5 million U.S. Navy contract. Modifications will include an upgraded Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system to increase commonality and interoperability with the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft of the U.S. Navy

Apache radar systems from LONGBOW ordered by Republic of Korea - News

LONDON. The Republic of Korea ordered fire control radars (FCRs) for the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter from LONGBOW, LLC, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. It is a foreign military sales contract valued at $51 million. The announcement was made during the DSeI show in London this week.

MQ-8B Fire Scout sets stage for MQ-8C after 5,000 flight hours in Afghanistan - News

WASHINGTON. At the 2013 Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) conference, Northrop Grumman announced MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned helicopter has surpassed 5,000 flight hours in Afghanistan. Since 2011, the MQ-8B Fire Scout has provided airborne surveillance and targeting in support of counter improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and delivered Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) data to forces on the ground.
