NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, PATUXENT RIVER, Md. The Naval Aviation Training Systems Program Office (PMA-205) and Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division teamed up to design and demonstrate the Navy Aviation Distributed Training Center (NADTC) prototype, a central hub for distributed aviation training. The NADTC’s goal is to provide daily training opportunities for naval aviation and is part of the Naval Aviation Vision for 2025.

PATUXENT RIVER, Md. -- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) engineers are weaponizing the MQ-8B Fire Scout unmanned helicopter for an urgent request from the U.S. This is the first time the Navy has armed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Weapons planned for the Fire Scout include a laser-guided rocket, the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS).
