Aptima, a company that develops tools to enhance human-machine performance for the defense and intelligence communities, has announced its merger with Milcord, a government-technology company based in Waltham, Mass., specializing in knowledge management, human social-culture modeling, and cyberdefense. Under the agreement, Aptima will acquire Milcord?s portfolio of completed, active, and pending contracts and intellectual property developed under these contracts; the merged entity will continue under the Aptima corporate umbrella.
