TAMPA, Fla. Satellite-communications company NIC4 (a division of Network Innovations) has won a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) modernization and support contract to handle mission-critical communications for the National Guard Bureau (NGB).
Under the terms of the agreement, NIC4 -- together with strategic partners ADS, Sat-Lite Technologies, and and Terrasat Communications -- will replace existing dated VSAT terminals with fully integrated 1.2 m auto-acquire systems.
The contract win enables the NGB to use the new Joint Incident Site Communications Capability (JISCC) Block 2E VSAT terminals on the already contracted NIC4 MAVERICK VSAT Network.
