Avionics solution stack aligned with FACE technical standard

NORWOOD, Mass. United Electronic Industries (UEI) announced an integrated avionics solution stack aligned with The Open Group Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) standard using the certified FACE-conformant Transport Services Segment (TSS) product from Real-Time Innovations (RTI).
According to officials, this capability is designed to enable rapid integration with other portable FACE software applications to the UEI platform through the RTI TSS, intended to provide a low-risk, cost-effective connectivity foundation for FACE systems integrators.
RTI claims that the company's TSS is designed to accelerate and assure interoperability of FACE applications. It is engineered to extend FACE application software portability and system interoperability benefits by integrating the RTI FACE TSS with the Object Management Group (OMG) Data Distribution Service (DDS) Standard.
The company's announced that this solution will be demonstrated at the FACE TIM hosted by the U.S. Army PEO Aviation at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama on September 14, 2021.
