ARLINGTON, Va. Roboteam and DRS Technologies officials signed a strategic agreement to collaborate in developing a solution for the U.S. Army's Common Robotic System - Individual (CRS-I) program.
The CRS-I program, officials say, will provide the dismounted warfighter with lower-level reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition capabilities. It also provides a way to remotely perform chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear detection; to remotely clear danger areas; conduct explosive obstacle counter measure operations; and conduct explosive ordnance disposal operations from a distance.
