MADRID, Spain. Escribano, Indra, and TRC formed a partnership to deliver an advanced counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) to the Spanish Armed Forces, the companies announced in a statement.

The collaboration aims to equip the military with technologies for detecting, identifying, and neutralizing drones in operational areas. The joint venture, formalized on June 3, will involve building a system that will integrate radar, optronics, radio frequency technologies, and command and control systems that incorporate artificial intelligence, the statement reads.

Additionally, the solution will feature both softkill and hardkill actuators to counter drone threats, and the technology is designed for easy deployment and integration into both land and naval platforms, the companies say.

This partnership builds on the previous collaborations between Escribano and Indra, including their work on anti-drone systems for the European Jey-CUAS project and the upcoming BACO and European E-CUAS projects scheduled for 2025, the statement adds.
