Description: The VITA 68.2 working group has completed the draft and has voted to take the draft through to the ANSI process to be recognized as an ANSI standard.
Voter registration for voting for ANSI recognition of the draft standard is now open.
VITA 68.2, VPX Standard S-Parameter Definition
Abstract: VITA 68.2 is a dot specification based on the VITA 68 family of standards for signal integrity compliance of VPX systems and components. VITA 68.2 leverages [VITA 68.0] S-parameter definition and expands upon how the S-parameters are formatted and named to help system integrators easily take multiple vendor S-parameters, concatenate them together to analyze an entire channel from one Plug-In Module to another Plug-In Module.
This ballot is open to both VITA members and non-members alike. You must register if you wish to participate in the ballots. Non-members should contact Jing Kwok, VITA Technical Director, for login credentials.
The roster will be vetted to ensure it meets balance, lack of dominance and openness rules. Following which a formal ballot will be sent to the registrants for voting.
