Precision approach radar contract won by Harris

MELBOURNE, Fla. U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) officials tasked Harris Corp. to supply precision approach radars to the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Army. The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract ceiling value is estimated at $96 million.
Harris engineers will supply precision approach radar systems to upgrade the military air traffic management capabilities and precision approach. The single-award contract spans over an eight-year period.
