CHANTILLY, Va. Engility Holdings has signed a $20 million task order with the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to maintain the AN/SPN-43 radar and associated air-traffic-control (ATC) systems -- the kind used on all aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ships -- and integrate upgrades aimed at extending the lifetime of the systems.
Under the terms of the contract, Engility will perform engineering, design, fabrication and system architecture services; the company will also install and integrate system components for testing and analysis.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee, third-quarter contract represents new work and consists of a base year with three option years.
