OSHKOSH, Wis. Oshkosh Defense has obtained a delivery order valued at more than $16 million from the U.S. Marine Corps for an additional 23 P-19R Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicles.
The Oshkosh P-19R vehicle -- which handles rescue situations in off-road environments using the TAK-4 independent suspension system -- carries the Oshkosh CommandZone, an automated, integrated control and diagnostics system that provides the user to access vital vehicle information and repair and troubleshoot vehicles, view real-time performance data, and remotely access diagnostics information.
