ADLINK joins SOSA Consortium

SAN JOSE, Calif. and TAIPEI, Taiwan. ADLINK Technology has become a member of the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) consortium. The SOSA consortium has been driving the interoperability of VPX solutions from different vendors by addressing the gap within OpenVPX standards.
ADLINK’s portfolio of rugged VPX products are aimed at compute-intensive, SWaP-constrained, mission-critical applications used in demanding military and aerospace environments.
The ADLINK Vortex DDS data-sharing software framework, say company officials, is the first commercial software to achieve Transport Service Segment (TSS) certification in both C++ and Java Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); Vortex DDS is also FACE [Future Airborne Capability Environment]-certified, lending to its suitability for use in military/aerospace projects.
