SYRACUSE, N.Y. SRCTec, LLC will deliver reliability, maintainability, and improvement (RMI) kits to update the AN/VLQ-12 countermeasures set under a $20 million U.S. Army contract.

The AN/VLQ-12 Counter Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (CREW) Duke system is a vehicle-mounted, lightweight system that neutralizes RCIED threats and utilizes a software-defined architecture to support rapid reconfigurations.

The updated technology will maintain the system’s effectiveness against increasingly sophisticated electronic warfare (EW) threats, officials say.
