ManTech to deliver support for Navy's combat identification systems

HERNDON, Va. U.S. Navy officials selected ManTech International Corp. for a five-year, $35.9 million single indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide engineering and technical services for the Combat Integration & Identification Systems (CI&IDS) Division with the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).
Under the agreement, ManTech will provide services that support combat identification (ID), non-cooperative target recognition (NCTR), air traffic control (ATC) equipment, systems and subsystems, and advanced technologies development for U.S. Navy vessels.
ManTech provides systems engineering, software development and Risk Management Framework/Cyber for Navy ATC and combat systems that identify both cooperative and non-cooperative aircraft. ManTech designed SARTIS, one of the first systems developed to single out hostile radar by its unique signals, and continues to advance the field of shipboard electronics and combat ID for NAWCAD.
