The Innodisk 2.5-inch SATA SSD 3MR2-P is a SATA III 6.0 Gb/sec flash-based disk family designed for high-availability end uses. The disks are equipped with such data-security functions as including quick erase/security erase/destroy and write protect. All the security functions can be triggered by either hardware and software approaches. The disks – compliant with MIL-STD-810F/G standards – are ruggedized and can therefore be used in harsh environments.
The family of disks have a maximum power consumption of 5.78 W (5V by 1155 mA), have a vibration ceiling of 20 G at 7 ~2000Hz, and can handle shock levels of 1500 G at 0.5 ms. The disks, say the company, have a tested mean time before failure (MTBF) of >3 million hours and can be stored at temperatures between -55 °C and +95 °C. Operation temperatures can range between 0 °C and +70 °C for the standard-grade disks, while the industrial-grade disks can operate at temperatures between 40 °C and +85 °C. The Innodisk 3MR2-P is available in sizes from 8 GB to 256 GB.
