TE Connectivity’s CeeLok FAS-T and CeeLok FAS-X connectors allow convenient field assembly, termination and repair—while supporting 10 GB/s speeds. Both comply with VITA standards and VPX protocols.

The CeeLok FAS-T compact I/O connector is designed for high speeds in harsh environments. It is compatible with Cat 5e and Cat 6a cables—and protocols ranging from the USB and IEEE 1394 to gigabit and 10G Ethernet while in a size 8 shell.

A T-shaped pin pattern improves signal integrity through uniform crosstalk cancellation. Shells are available in electroless nickel or corrosion-resistant black zinc nickel, and both provide full-immersion sealing at up to 70,000 feet of altitude.

Thanks to their small size, CeeLok FAS-T connectors weigh in at just 25.6 grams—a quarter the weight of legacy solutions. Military applications include rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, ground vehicles, soldier systems and missiles. In commercial applications, CeeLok FAS-T connectors are perfect for in-flight entertainment, avionics and communications systems.

CeeLok FAS-X connectors, featuring AS39029 contacts in 38999 style shell, are built for rugged applications and high data requirements. A zero bit error rate in high-vibration environments at variable temperatures makes CeeLok FAS-X connectors an ideal choice for 10G Ethernet, IEEE 1394, USB 2.0 in a size 11 shell with the option of HDMI, DVI-D, Display Port 1.0 in a size 25 shell. and other high-speed protocols in military and commercial aviation.

Available in both aluminum and composite nickel-plated shells, CeeLok FAS-X connectors feature an X-shaped pin configuration for signal integrity. Both shell materials enable a far more compact design than traditional Ethernet solutions, offering one Ethernet channel in a size 11 shell compared to a size 19 shell RJ45.
