IMS 2019--BOSTON, Mass. MACOM Technology Solutions is demonstrating its W-band capabilities -- aimed at applications in the mmW communications, radar, and passive imaging arenas -- at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2019, held June 4-6 in Boston.
According to MACOM information, the company will demo its Variable Voltage Attenuator (VVA), with a typical variable attenuation range of 25 dB; a reflective single-pole/double-throw (SP2T) switch with integrated bias circuits, which carries a typical insertion loss of 0.8 dB; and a balanced three-stage power amp, which has a typical saturated power of 24 dBm.
The parts are manufactured using MACOM's proprietary proprietary AlGaAs PIN diode technology and are intended for use by those designing control components with superior RF performance at extremely high frequency.
Visitors to IMS 2019 may find the demos at the MACOM booth, #532.
