U.S. Navy, Mercury agree to DRFM jammer contract

ANDOVER, Mass. Mercury Systems has received a follow-on, five-year, sole source basic ordering agreement (BOA) from the U.S. Navy to deliver advanced digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) subsystems that support frequency jamming in a multithreat environment.
The contract, valued at up to $153 million, encompasses research and development, production, engineering services, and ongoing support for the Navy. Work will be performed at Mercury's facility in Cypress, California, with a period of performance from March 2017 through February 2022.
