$1.5 million U.S. Navy order given to Mercury Systems for DRFM jammers

CHELMSFORD, MA. The U.S. Navy gives Mercury Defense Systems a $1.5 million order for advanced Digital RF Memory (DRFM) jammers to fulfill both U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force requirements.
The $1.5 million order is part of a $56.7 million firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) time and material contract award. The contract was originally received by KOR Electronics (now Mercury Defense Systems) in March 2010 and was increased in 2013.
“This award is a further acknowledgement of the company’s continuing effort to support the warfighter,” says Brian Perry, VP and GM of Mercury’s Services and Systems Integration Group. “For more than 20 years, Mercury Defense Systems’ DRFM products have been used for self-protection, vulnerability assessment, training, and radar environment simulation. Our successful performance under firm-fixed price contracting is the cornerstone of our business.”
