Radar components for G/ATOR system ordered from Saab, will go to U.S. Marine Corps

SYRACUSE, N.Y. Saab will fulfill a $36.7 million order to supply components and subsystems for the U.S. Marine Corps installation of the AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR); Saab received the order from Northrop Grumman, the prime contractor for G/ATOR.
The mobile G/ATOR system is a short- to medium-range multirole radar system that is able to detect unmanned aerial threats, cruise missiles, and artillery/mortars.
Under the terms of the contract, Saab will build and deliver the components during 2020 and 2021, originating from its facility in Syracuse, New York.
