EW, cyber elements for warfare benefit under USAF and Johns Hopkins accord

LAUREL, Md. The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory has signed a contract worth $49.9 million with the U.S. Air Force to develop air warfare systems that will include munitions, cyberwarfare, and electronic warfare (EW) components, according to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
The DoD said that the work will be done at the Applied Physics Lab and is expected to be completed in July, 2026.
