Hundred Mile Marine update

NEW YORK CITY. Last month on Memorial Day retired Marine Brian Gallagher set a goal to run 100 miles around Ground Zero in New York City in less than 30 hours to raise money for wounded warriors and their families. He did it! Gallagher ran the 100 miles in 29 hours and 15 minutes to raise $100,000 dollars for the charities he supports.

Gallagher, who is also the Director of Public Affairs for DRS Technologies, has raised $29,068 so far and is still accepting donations to his charities. For more information on donating, visit hundredmilemarine.com/. Gallagher was featured on Fox News before the run, to see the video click here.

His charities are the National September 11 Memorial & Museum dedicated to remembering those who died that day and those that gave their lives during the rescue attempts, the Sergeant Dakota Meyer Scholarship, and the DH Project both these group help wounded warfighters and their families. For more information on these three organizations, please visit their websites: www.911memorial.org,
