U.S. Navy selects SAIC to provide support for C4 and Cyber program

MCLEAN, Va. Officials at Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center selected Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) to support the Joint Staff J6 Directorate's Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) and Cyber Program in an indefinite/delivery, indefinite/quantity (IDIQ) contract valued an approximately $156 million.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide analytical engineering, program management, and technical support to the Joint Staff Deputy Directorate’s Cyber/C4 Program. SAIC and five other awardees have been selected for the five-year contract. Work will perform the work in Norfolk, Virginia; Suffolk, Virginia; Arlington, Virginia; Eglin Air Force Base, Florida; and contractor facilities.
The Joint Staff Chiefs of Staff is comprised of the Chairman, the Vice Chairman, the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Chief of Naval Operations, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the Commandant of the Marine Corps and the Chief of the National Guard Bureau. The mission of the Joint Staff J6 is to serve the Chairman and develop C4/Cyber capability requirements to deliver a sustained information advantage, enable decision and action at the speed of the problem, and ensure the warfighter receives jointly integrated and effective capabilities necessary to conduct operations.
