Rohde & Schwarz cyber unit acquires security firm DenyAll

MUNICH. Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity has announced its acquisition of DenyAll, a Paris-based web application security and vulnerability management vendor. The DenyAll deal is intended to expand Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity's current stable of network and endpoint security and management products.
Ammar Alkassar, CEO of Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity, announced the deal, saying, “Web applications are a main enabler for the upcoming cloud business models and thus, driver for the digital transformation of virtually all industries. Providing adequate solutions for securing this transformation is crucial for its success.” DenyAll -- which offers vulnerability-management, web-application firewall, and access-management solutions -- will continue to be managed by current CEO Jacques Sebag and the rest of the Paris management team.
