General Dynamics Mission Systems wins spot on $980 million Army cyber, EW contract

FAIRFAX, Va. General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has been awarded a spot on the U.S. Army?s so-called R4 cyberwarfare contract; GDMS will provide electronic and cyber capabilities to the Army Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, and Sensors.
Under the terms of the contract -- a multi-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract from the Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground with a ceiling of $980 million over 10 years -- General Dynamics will provide new cyber capabilities, upgrade existing cybersystems, and supply training, documentation, and support, according to the company.
The overarching cyberwarfare contract is intended to serve as the U.S. Army's primary source of cyber innovation and delivery.
