Cybersecurity firm acquired by Northrop Grumman

FALLS CHURCH, Va. Northrop Grumman Corp. officials signed an agreement to purchase privately-held Australian cybersecurity firm called M5 Network Security Pty Ltd., based in Canberra, Australia. M5 also provides secure mobile communications services and products, and advanced analytics to Australian intelligence and military organizations.
The acquisition is still subject to Australian government review and the terms of the transaction – that is expected to close later in 2012 -- were not disclosed. The acquisition is not material to the 2012 financial outlook for Northrop Grumman.
