Officials at Wind River released updates to the company's VxWorks 653, which has support for multi-core silicon and partitioning for applications that enable certification to multilevel RTCA DO-178. Wind River also announced support for the Safety Base Profile of Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE™) 2.1 Technical Standard.
