WASHINGTON. Army Materiel Command (AMC) will lead a panel discussion on “Delivering Ready Combat Power: Taking Care of People,” during the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition, set to be held October 9-11 in Washington, D.C.

U.S. ARMY JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, N.J. June 2023 saw the U.S. Army conduct extensive testing for the Multi-Function Electronic Warfare – Air Large (MFEW-AL) capability, starting with initial testing at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and continuing throughout the summer with developmental testing and Soldier Touch Points at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, California, and Fort Drum, New York.

Poland's minister of national defense approved a Letter of Acceptance with the U.S. Army to expand its WISŁA medium-range air and missile defense capabilities with the introduction of 12 Lower-Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensors (LTAMDS) plus 48 Patriot launchers, making the Foreign Military Sale the first international customer to add the advanced 360-degree LTAMDS radar built by Raytheon (an RTX business) to its air and missile defense architecture.

Sikorsky (a Lockheed Martin company) completed four verification demonstrations of its RAIDER X system -- its entry in the competition for the U.S. Army's Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) -- with third-party integrators validating its modular open systems approach (MOSA), in preparation for the first Army-led event verifying the technology.
