U.S. Air Force extends satellite control network contract with Harris

HERNDON, Va. Harris Corp.’s Network and Space Operations and Maintenance contract with the U.S. Air Force has received a nine-month extension to continue to support the Air Force Satellite Control Network at two network control locations in the U.S. and at antenna sites around the world.
Under contract – worth an estimated $40 million – Harris will provide operations, maintenance, and logistic support to satellite operations at the 50th Space Wing at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, and other worldwide locations.
