New Ku-Band four-way Iso-Divider for satellite applications

Chandler, AZ and West Caldwell, NJ. Crane Aerospace & Electronics Microwave Solution has announced the Ku-Band four-way Iso-Divider intended for use in satellite applications.
Crane’s Iso-Divider combines ferrite isolators with high-performance dividers to provide a high isolation power divider solution, making the external isolators redundant for satellite receiver applications. This is also achieved without introducing complex, switch-based solutions.
Combining the power divider and isolators in the same package enables the performance of the integrated unit to be more carefully matched, and therefore overall higher performance can be attained. By integrating the two functions into a single package, this provides enhanced product reliability due to fewer external components, interconnects, and transitions.
