Secure network radio contract signed between U.S. Army and Northrop Grumman

FALLS CHURCH, Va. Northrop Grumman has secured a $50.8 million contract from the U.S. Army for production, integration, fielding, and training of the Huntsman secure network radio.
Northrop Grumman documents show that the Huntsman radio is a National Security Agency-certified cryptographic network for Secret and below applications; it uses multiple radio frequencies for antijamming, high reliability, and redundancy for radio users on the move.
The contract has an estimated completion date of September, 2022.
