MILCOM 2012 canceled due to Hurricane Sandy

ORLANDO, FL. Officials organizing the annual MILCOM conference and exhibition just canceled this year's events due to the travel disruptions being caused by Hurricane Sandy. It was estimated that about 40 percent of the attendees would have to travel from the impacted areas and either be majorly delayed or unable to attend all together.
AFCEA International and IEEE Communications Society, in collaboration with the MILCOM Conference Board, decided to cancel the event. MILCOM 2013 will be held in at the San Diego convention center in San Deigo, CA, Nov. 17 - 20, 2013. For more information, visit www.milcom.org.
