Mikros to deliver support services for U.S. Navy's diagnostic workstation

PRINCETON, N.J. U.S. Navy officials selected Mikros Systems Corp. for a three-year contract to deliver engineering and technical support of the company's Adaptive Diagnostic Electronic Portable Testset (ADEPT) maintenance workstation.
The award is worth an estimated $11.5 million and is the second delivery order issued under Mikros’ indefinite, delivery/ indefinite, quantity (IDIQ) multi-year $35.1 million contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, Indiana.
The order covers engineering services to provide product support, systems engineering, increased capabilities, and upgrades to the more than 200 ADEPT systems currently deployed by the U.S. Navy. This order will run through 2020.
Navy ships, such as cruisers and destroyers, use ADEPT to help maintain and optimize the performance of advanced radars, including the AN/SPY-1 phased array radar used by the Aegis combat system.
