DISA tasks AT&T to support communications network in Pacific region

VIENNA, Va. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) officials tasked AT&T to deliver a modern communications network to support U.S. military services in the Pacific region.
The 10-year contract is set to replace the military region's Hawaii network.
Anthony Robbins, vice president-Defense, AT&T Global Public Sector, says "We're equipping warfighters in the Pacific region with voice, data, and video capabilities to help improve mission effectiveness."
