WASHINGTON, D.C. BCS and Allegient Defense will merge to create a new entity, BCS Allegient, which will be operational under Alain Williams, the current CEO of BCS, the companies announced in a statement.

The merger combines BCS's experience in government and research support with Allegient Defense's Department of Defense portfolio, the companies say.

BCS Allegient seeks to strengthen both companies' position in the energy and defense markets. Allegient Defense has clients in the tactical communication, surveillance systems, wireless technologies, and electronic warfare markets.
