Wixom, MI. Acromag has introduced a new rugged small form factor (SFF) mission computer, the ARCX box. Engineered with size, weight, and power (SWaP) in mind, to address space requirements on vehicle electronics. The mission computer is designed for mil/aero deployable systems, such as C4ISR, command and control applications, payload management, and vetronics.

The cableless, fanless ARCX box is compatible with industry standards and is manufactured to IP67 standards and shock and vibration tested to MIL-STD-810G. The SFF mission computers are available as either single or double PMC/XMC slot versions. Features include optional front I/O panel, mini PCIe, mSATA module slots, PMC, secondary connectors, and XMC. The ARCX box comes with a built-in power supply and power filter and equipped with a high-performance Intel 4th gen Core i5/i7 CPU. Acromag’s ARXC mission computer features customizable off-the-shelf options, low-power, and compact size.

“By offering a range of expansion options using industry standards, such as PMC/XMC and mSATA/mPCIe, ARCX box customers are able to assemble the system they wanted instead of just buying a system that is available,” says Joseph Primeau, embedded sales and marketing director for Acromag.
