Aviation engineering contract signed between Engility, U.S. Navy

CHANTILLY, Va. Engility announced that it had won earlier this year an $85 million Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Code AIR-4.1?Systems Engineering Department contract that will support NAWCAD Code AIR 4.1 by providing systems engineering, analysis, development, and testing of naval-aviation warfare systems.
Under the terms of the contract, Engility will work out of its Model Based System Engineering Lab in Lexington Park, Maryland, to support NAWCAD's Program Executive Offices and the Program Managers, Air. This support will take the form of systems-engineering activities, including providing multidisciplinary integrated technical baseline evaluations and conducting program engineering assessments.
Engility will also help introduce these systems into naval aircraft and support them over their life cycle.
